View Full Version : Stupid dinger thingy... Stupid dinger thingy... ihatetodaysheroes 10-31-2004, 03:42 PM One of my mates tryed to do it before, back when he owned it, but apparently the lights stopped going or something. This would be something i would like to avoid, also. :) Oh: And if anyone around Hamtown wants a cheap rough-around-the-edges skyline then I have one. You might be paranoid about your flash car getting nicked when you go to the supermarket or something: This would be perfect. The turbo has gone, and it is automatic, but I guess you guys would have the contacts to get around those problems if you could be bothered. What else? 2 litre, 1986, and WoF till early next year. My email is imbuildingarocketcar@hotmailcom and phone's 0276659698 - Its a new month and I cant afford to text back so... Anyway... thanks for any help you give me, if anyone plans on helping me. Awesome. GTES-t 10-31-2004, 05:39 PM Yes, it is a speed warning. It's installed on all Japanese vehicles (required by law) because the max. speed limit in Japan in 80 kph. It's located in a box under the dash. If you go searching for it, it has a single connection and the normal sound holes like a telephone. They usually have other parts in it like auto trans brake/shift relay, etc. So you'll want to open the box and disconnect the actual beeper. Another option is do like I did, and just keep ignoring it and it eventually just dies from being over used. Mustang-man 01-31-2005, 03:20 AM I just ignore my one usually but only when passing cars. Whenever i hear it at other times i always slow down. Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
