Hey guys,

Does anyone know what it takes to get a performance rally set up? I'm going to look into getting a local race started and I need some info. The closest SCCA perf rally event to me is in eastern Tennessee which is about a 12-14 hour drive from here, so I would like to try and open up something a little closer. What do you have to do to get the public roads closed, mobilize the emergency crews, etc? I have not contacted my local SCCA yet, so I don't know what they would have to say, but if anyone out there can help I would appreciate it.

youll have to contact the scca, they the ones who would know best how to get it done, and prob the ones who would need to end up doing it. try to gather some information showing how good of a turnout there would be etc... count me in!
