I was wondering around the junk yard, and I stumbled across a nice 95 accord motor. The guy couldn't tell me what kind of accord it came from so I'm not sure what type it is. Anyhow, the motor looks like mine, almost, and it looks like it would fit, but would it? With out major modifications. Thanks.

HAven't got a clue, but it would seem that it should. It's all about the mounting, best I can tell. If the bolt patterns match, I would assume the only thing you'd have to worry about is getting the engine into place without having to cut the firewall or elsewhere in the engine bay......good luck. Things could get hairy, but my buddy got an old chevy 440 into his....don't remember the name of the car, think it was a dodge dart, but might be mistaken, and it was designed for a much smaller engine. Check to see if they have an engine mount conversion kit for it, that'll tell you all you need to know.

But, as I said, I'm exceedingly new to the whole mod thing on cars, most I've ever done to a car is changed the shift knob to a neon one, and did some seriously minor bodywork. Let me know how it goes though.
