1993 -10 blazer 103000 miles. It has a hard time startinf and once it does it wants to stall out. It runs fine as long as you give it gas, also the exhaust smells like rotten eggs so i think it is getting too much gas.

i replaced:
spark wires/plugs
dis. cap & rotor
Ignition module
EGR Valve
throttle position sensor
knock sensor
fuel filter/pump
some other sensor on top of throttle body (i forget what it was)
in the process of new cat and muffler

this has cost me 600+ dollars this week, plese help!!!

i think the rotten egg smell leads to an EGR valve sticking. that will also cause rough running and loss of power.

Rotton eggs?

Oh shit didn't see that.

Cat Convertor is clogged. Needs anew Cat convertor.

This is caused by the leaking injector letting unburnt fuel leakinto the cat where it burns and melts the substrate.

already changed the egr valve and the cat is in, it didnt do anything, i may try some new injectors. The smell did go away with the new cat however, and when we unpluged some vacuum lines it runs a little better. So that makes me think it is getting too much gas or not enough air.

yah I looked at that, I heard that fixed others too. But it costs like $300. So i wanted to see if there was a cheaper route.

So you opened up the IMTV valve in the top of the plenum and had a look?

no, sory I meant that I looked at the link. I will probably open that up this weekend and see whats going on there. Kinda hope its not that just because it costs so much.

Well, regardless of cost, you have to fix it and you can pick up the injector off of ebay for around 175 -200 and do the labor yourself.

I changed the CPI injector and all is running smooth and all the extra parts I put in made it a little better too. Thanks everyone.
