The temperature gauge on the 2004 Sebring Convertible I got recently is running one notch below the mid point which seems to be warmer than my last Sebring.

Is that where it should be if not what are common causes? Thanks

Unless you’re in the red I wouldn’t worry about it. Multiple things including design can cause it to be at different levels. My 2003 still has lots of room to move before it overheats but then again I spend most of the time on highways. My Malibu on the other hand runs at ¾ of the gauge in traffic before the fan kicks in. I don’t like it but that’s how it was set up.
