Got me some belts. Thanks to 97 SILVERBULLETS for being willing to work with me on getting the belts.

question...
When you installed the late model interrior into your 87, what hardware was needed to mount the belt hanging support that mounts above the rear window?

When I removed the headboard of my 87, I found the "hole" in the sheet metal where the torque bolt goes through but there is no "anchor" or any kind of nut for the bolt to go in and provide mechanical support.

I found the same issue with the retractor part that mounts above the rear fendor BUT it came with a bracket that is used in conjuction w/ the holes to mount the belt....no problems there.

Surely there is a similar "bracket" used on the part that goes over the window. I'm willing to bet most people who remove belts never even know it is there because you would have to remove the headboard to see it. Nobody is going to do that when you don't have too. You would be the exception because you would need for the 87....if yours is like mine.

Thanks for your help.
