ARB Turn Signal Lights

Does anyone know the part numbers for the ARB turn signal light bulbs?

The drivers side light burnt out for some reason. I got my Bull Bar about 6 months ago and it's already burnt out. I took the cover off of the light to find a bunch of rust.(or something that looked like rust) This doesn't seem normal. I haven't seen any problems with this in the past on this or any other boards and I know I installed them right. Pretty basic install in the first place. It looks like water might have gotten in there somehow.
Thanks
Brantley

The bulb is a standard auto bulb. Just take it into an autoparts place. But I'd forget it, the turn signals are junk and are probably rusted beyond repair. Most everyone I know has theirs shot.

Thanks

Why did ARB make such a crappy setup that it would just rust out in a matter of months? What a joke. Spending as much as you do on an ARB you'd think the lights on it wouldn't crap out so quick.

I don't know. Maybe they get more dust than mud in Australia? :eek7:

One member in our club bought replacements from ARB and they rusted out just as fast. Best I've seen is PIAA 1500's put in their place, but you can't get them flush with the angle the bumper is cut to. Someone handy with a welder could probably get somthing working which would be cool. Not for turn indictators but for lighting.

Actually I'm pretty handy with a welder and happen to have a Miller MIG sitting in the garage sooooooooo.......................................: grinyes:NEW PROJECT!!!:grinyes:

The PIAA 1500's, huh? Sounds like a plan. When you say "could probably get something working", I'm guessing you mean building brackets to fit the lights???

BTW: Thanks for the idea. Now I gotta wait for the other side to rust out.

Here's a link to my solution. Not too difficult or expensive, but will have to see how they hold up!

Thanks, It gives me some great ideas on what I'm gunna do. Now I just have to find lights that fit and for the other signal to go out.

Here's what ChuckH in our club (and here) is working on.

They have twelve LED's and he's making a "surround" to make them flush with his bumper. One drawback is they protrude beyond the bumper so that will need to be dealt with, but they light!!

Link to the company that makes them, Model # is M20332Y.

Hope I didn't hijack his project, but I'm not sure how much he's able to get by here with his new job.

If I can't make it up two posts on the "latest udpate" button, do you think there is any chance in hell I'll swaddle through the flotsam on XOC?
