ok ok ok i know u are all tired of the whos gunna win questions, but this race wont happen for a wile now. but its me with a 1991 honda civic hatchback, DOHC ZC, intake and no muffler, dunno if that helps, and rite now my clutch is shit, but he has a 2001 GMC sanomma with K&N intake, stright pipe, and flowmasters, now hes been talkin so much shit for the longest time talkin down on my car, rite now my timeing belt is snapped so i cant racem for a wile, but i wanna race him with wat i got rite now, and then wen i get headers, 2 1/4 piping, new clutch, and CAI, so heres the question who do u think would win, before and after i get my new parts? sorry its so long and i dont blame u for bitchin at this post, just wanna know

That Sonoma has a 327 in it and is going to have a lot of pull in it, but remember that your car only weighs 3000 pounds while that truck weighs like 3-3.5 tons. It probably has about 285-300 hp, but it is a truck. I think if you launch well and don't look back, you have a chance. You said you have to put in a timing chain, so why not cam it out at the same time, unless you don't have to pull the motor. I don't know if you need to pull it or not. Why not throw on the headers and exhaust now instead of waiting and make him pay!! If you want to race as is, though, just race and shift well and don't look back! Post the results under this thread after the race. GOOD LUCK!!

ok ill post the results when we race, but im not sure wat a 327 is, but his truck has a 4 cylinder in it, also i think my car only wighs like 2200-2400 lbs, but ya once i race il post it up.

If that truck only has a 4 cylinder then i think you'd win, if the truck is between 3-3.5 tons then you should be able to kick his ass pretty bad

yeah i think that u shloud use ur wegiht advantage to tha fullist just make sure ur shift at the right time and dont look back

If that truck only has a 4 cylinder then i think you'd win, if the truck is between 3-3.5 tons then you should be able to kick his ass pretty badA truck like that is NOT going to weight 6,000-7,000lbs.. I doubt if it weights over 4,000.
