the rb enigine doesnt pass US emisions, so you woulnt be able to bring the enigine. Why the font and color?

Is it a GTST? If not...I am sorry to tell you....it aint worth shipping anywhere...let alone to the US. There is a R33 model of GTS that is HORRRIBLE! I think it is a single overhead cam RB that is a total waste of Skyline engineering.

You can't take a 180 back with you.....you can take the engine with you though.

Where are you located? I know where you can get yourself a great deal on most anything you want.

Exactly what are you talking about? An engine is not a car. There is no regulation on what engine you can bring into the states.

I agree with Jeff on this one. If it is the DET variations (ECR33 chassis code) then it is a doable project. I would check with redneck383 as he has done a similar mod to his 240. You can usually find him in the street racing forums.

the rb engine isnt legal here in the US (street use), that is what im trying to say. Or atleast the rb26 isnt. Unless if your only going to use it for track.

You can ship it though and in MOST places no one will ever check under your hood to see what you have. As far as emissions go....cross one bridge at a time..

That depends on where u live. The rb26 is legal in Ky as in FL b/c the no emmisions. I've done checked b4 i order mine to drop into my 240sx

If you're looking to put the motor into a 240SX, check the 240SX forum.

:iagree: too much problems here anyway.

I would not bother with an RB20 in a 240sx anyway. It is much too big (in mass not displacement) to be worthwhile. If you are going with a 2 liter engine just go SR. If you are going RB25 THAT is a different matter altogether.

its turbo intercooled.....
oh thank god... nevermind then. you're good. yeah taking an RB25DET is a viable option and you can build it quite well also. I was going to tell you not to waste your time building shipping or even driving an RB20E, but this is a different story. I'm not sure if you realized what you were buying when you got the car but you made out pretty well.... wait let me guess you got it from BC? or is it that 4 door they had in front of US auto sales?
