92 Accord LX cp?bambief 10-25-2004, 10:24 PM my 92 accord has been sputtering and acting like it doesnt want to start, especially first thing in the morning. when it finally does start, it sputters and i have to give it gas to keep it running. i read out the cp, and it gave me the code for the coolant temp...seems really odd to me to call that out, considering the radiator is brand new and it has plenty of antifreeze. could this be something simple like a clogged fuel injector, or is my cp out of whack? i replaced the oil pressure switch, no luck. it's got a reasonably new fuel filter....fuel pump, maybe? any help would be appreciated, thank you!!! mpumas 10-25-2004, 11:32 PM Spark plugs, ignition coil, ignitor in that order might solve your problem. If you are getting a coolant code it means that you may have a continutiy problem to the probe or the probe itself. Usually coolant only becomes a issue when the engine gets hotl. Igovert500 10-26-2004, 04:34 PM Code might be for a faulty sensor or thermostat...but I don't think that would be related to your sputtering...check everything mpumas mentioned, also check your throttle body, make sure the valve is working properly. bambief 10-26-2004, 05:17 PM thanks alot fellas...it came to me last night that the butterfly valves might be the problem...thanks for your help! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
