Ahh my brand new computer... got infested with mass amounts of worms and viruses. Isn't that great? Anywhooo after I got all that crud off the computer the ethernet card decided to go poop.

Well Whatever. It's up and running now and I'm a happy camper. And so is the Z... Sorta. It's clutch isn't so happy with me.

The entire time I've been gone I've had a racing dry spell... Ok, that's a lie. 5 Races... err 4.5 races. The .5 race was more of a 'messing with'. Ok, If we're gonna do the 'messing withs' then I've only had 1 race.

I'm so lame. :(

The only race I had the entire time I was gone with out my precious internet was with a newer gen Prelude with a little asian guy and his cutie girlfriend. I baited him by driving past casually and throwing a few revs. My friend and I giggled in delight and watched him follow us through traffic. Later on he gunned it past me while I was still in 2nd gear coming from a light. I just mashed it and shifted to 3rd at 7000rpm and instantly had about a car and a half on him.

I let off and they flew by laughing to each other, we were laughing... well at them. But that's besides the point it was a fun little thing. And that was that.

About a week ago, I had a run in with a brand new G35 coupe. I have video of that. I'll try to get it up for y'all. I'll just say cruising at a 130mph at 3/4 throttle next to a guy who still had dealer plates on his G35 is priceless. Cause... well he had a major jump on me and I realed him in quick. I'll let the video do the talking when I can get my buddy to edit it up for me.


Today, on the freeway I had a run in with three convertibles. A Porsche Carrera, a Honda S2000 and a Audi TT. Each of them showed up to where I was on the freeway within 5 minutes of each other.

I sneaked up through traffic to catch them and Systematically picked on each one. Dude in the S2000 was first, that was easy pickings. I know I can play with S2000's all day and not care. He was old and had driving gloves on... he needed to be picked on.

When he saw I wasn't more than a car behind him as he 'manuevered' through traffic he tried to ditch me. It didn't happen. I ended up over taking him and smiled as I went by. Cause of traffic I never got over 85-90. Which is fine for me.

Audi TT and the Porsche Carrera showed up nearly the same time. I figured I'd pick on the Porsche, I assume all Porsches are created equal and are fast as greased lightning. So of course I have to try.

Traffic slowed down as I was behind the Porsche, he was gunning it around cars. Nothing dangerous, I won't play that game. But we were briskly moving through traffic. But we got into the right lane to go around a few cars but that backfired and we had to slow down to almost a stop. D'oh. Well traffic was pretty much clear behind us so we jumped back into the left lanes and he took the lane immediately to our left, I chose the lane to the left of that. Meaning I jumped over two lanes. And it was basically from a second gear punch. By the end of 3rd gear (90mph-ish). He as about a car behind me. My clutch is slipping pretty bad now so, I think I would of done better. Who knows.

I check my rearview for 'authority figures' and notice the Audi TT was behind us... playing catch up. Apparently he was trying to play along with me and the Porsche but didn't have the beans to do so. Once he got up to us I looked over and he seemed dissappointed that we were done. Oh well for him.


New clutch, flywheel, slotted rotors, pads and stainless steel lines are coming next.

It's fun throwing down $1000 for parts you need rather than want.:mad:

haha... oh well, it'll drive easier with the better clutch and stop faster with the brake upgrades. So I'm not complaining too much. Just that I have to get all that ordered, delivered and installed before my trip to Arizona. Which is next week. :lol:

Nice races. Too bad for the Audi, LOL. Man, I wish I knew more about cars, and had the money to build one up right to just blow other cars away. Oh well. I can only wish. So what's in Arizona? Are you going there to race, or just for fun? Late...

nice kills, and as for the $1000 you have to spend the cluth, and the flywheel will definantley be worth it. Atleast the brakes will give you confidence since they won't turn into putty after a 100mph halt.
