"92 s-15 jimmy- Started having temperature problems 3 wks ago.Now replaced t-stat x2(yes i tested the 2nd one),replaced rad.cap it wasnt holding pressure, replace tensioner it was faulty, flushed system. Now when engine has cooled off if i get on hwy after approx. 2 miles temp. shoots up to 210,stays a few minutes then drops again to normal range. If the block is already warm it stays in normal range. If I speed up when it is hot the temp will drop some.

How is the coolant level in the rad when the engine is stone cold?

The coolant level is full.

I reread your first post and I do believe your coolant system is perfectly fine.

It is completely normal for the temperature to go to the 210 range before the thermostat pops opens and then it will level out.

Replace the rad cap and go have your cooling system reverse flushed.
