Cause i want to turbo my 95 cavy, so tell me how you did it, and how much did it cost you. shimmy 10-24-2004, 10:23 AM 2 turbos in a 1990 cav.....kinda wasteful I think, and almost impossible. My question is why in a 1990? lexxxx 10-24-2004, 10:32 AM ok one on the right front fender then one on the left front fender then go to a muffler shop they custome your exauht for about 500 i got both the turbos from one of my freinds for about 3 each then on a 90 cavalier the intake is diferent than newer ones it looks like a carburated intake anyways answer my question on the fuel flow lexxxx 10-24-2004, 10:35 AM i havent put them on yet there in my garage because of the fuel problems how do you post pics on the replys shimmy 10-24-2004, 12:05 PM I don't think we can post pics on replys...why dont you put them on a web page? pre98zetec 10-24-2004, 03:44 PM wait a minute, you said you put 2 turbos on and you were having fuel problems, Now its " I haven't put them on because theres fuel problems". Which is it? Personally I think it's all :bs: public 10-24-2004, 04:44 PM I am not aware of any way to adjust the fuel flow. This car does not have a Mass Air Flow Sensor. All parameters are fixed for a stock intake and TBI. Perhaps a different/larger fuel injector. I would recommend keeping the turbos and getting another car to put them on. And since you sound young I will add the FIRST RULE OF HOT RODDING: NEVER hot rod the car you drive to work. I learned this on the hard way. Good Luck. BlazerLT 10-25-2004, 03:23 PM Pure bullshit to me! lexxxx 10-25-2004, 04:34 PM Ya Pretty Much The Hole Thing Is Bs I Do Have One I Just Wantedt To Know How To Ajust The Fuel Flow Or Something Like That I Wasnt Shure Myself And If I Got A Biger Throttle Body Will It Just Spray The Same Amount Of Fuel Or More tbone47129 10-25-2004, 05:33 PM :nono:Just drop a 502 big block in it with a blower? :screwy: BlazerLT 10-25-2004, 06:57 PM teheheheh..... Honestly Lexxxx, you need to learn a LOT more about engines before you start turbocharging an engine. If you want to increase the fuel intake, you will have to have the computer reprogrammed or you will have to install a separate fuel management system. lexxxx 10-25-2004, 11:26 PM i have overhead injection on my car and i wanted to know if i hade to ge biger or just reprogram the computer shimmy 10-26-2004, 08:41 AM reprogram it BlazerLT 10-26-2004, 12:25 PM Shimmy, Don't comment or help in this thread. You don't even know how to check your own coolant level let alone tell people how to adjust their fuel system. 4dr92cavi4cyl 10-26-2004, 12:48 PM More fuel without more air is a waste of gas and will make you car run hot. If you get a bigger Throttle Body the computer will automatically adjust the air/fuel ratio to stay consistent. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
