Hi i have a 1990 chevy cavalier and when i race or im just on the street i have great exel but when i get into fourth and fifth it just lags at the same speed i know its not a gvoenor so can anyone help me i would like to win the whole race not just the first part

what i mean is it goes axcels slower in those gears alot slower
