whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?

You guys gotta be kidding me. Living in the affluent suburbs of Rockville, MD there are a TON of rare cars here. I've seen 2 Ferrari F360s, 1 F430. I've seen a Carrera GT, and ALOT of 911s. There's even 2 Supra turbos. And in nearby Gaithersberg we have a couple R33 GT-Rs. There's a kid at my school who drives the 2006 SRT-10. And in nearby Potomac, there are a ton of Lotus Elises and Exiges. I know of at least 5 BMW M5's, and 2 BMW M6's, and I got video of the flyby. Corvettes are too common on our area, at least 20-30. I also saw a 2006 Ford GT flyby down Rt. 28. ALOT of rare cars in this area.

In my business park the lower end cars are the Z06's and G35 Nizmo coupes. Carrera S Turbo, new Red Elise and an ultra rare '89 BMW 8 Series //M.

997 car? Is it a Carrera or a Turbo?

In the late 80's there were 850's produced that was hated by the traditional BMW following since it did away with the front gril which abondoned it's aircraft heritage. 850c, 850ci & 850 csi and even fewer 850 //M. c & ci had v8 and the csi & //M came with v12's. I've got photos with my Camera phone if need be that I can send. I'd post them here but don't know how. I am willing to admit that I'm off on the Porsche...never really got excited by them.

No prob! When I saw the car it took me 4 months of searching to found out what it was! Had the BMW badge but looked like no other BMW. Some carnut on Carspin (name of Farris?) (from Syria I think) clued me in.

I saw a Lamborghini 350gt interim about a year ago.

I saw an audi R8 the other day while driving to work (assuming its being driven by the car magazines in my city), theres a lotus test facility in my city so i see elise's and exige's. i've seen a testarossa, two jaguar xke's a porsche 356. in japan there were a few skylines, lol but you can get those there. I saw the mercedes slk, the turbo v12, whatever it's called. stuff at the detroit auto show,

Well, I've seen a black DeTomaso Pantera, which is pretty rare. I've seen the Porsche Panamera last winter, and the E90 M3 a year ago. Ferraris are quite common here, so if it isn't an F40, 50, 575, Enzo etc it's not worth noticing. I have seen a Ford Mustang GT500 '07 and I was once passed by a black Gallardo.

- Rolls Royce Phantom - Three, One black with 24's, A white one, and another black one.
- Rolls Royce (old one I forget the name) - Some guy my dad knows got an old white one, like 78' or something.
- Maserati Quattrope - Blue one
- Maybach 57 - One, owned by Tayshaun Prince.
- Porsche - Pretty much every kind.
- Ford GT40 - Black one (only had 10 miles on it at the time)
- Ferrari F430 - Two, both Red with Beige interior, exactly identical
- Audi A8 W12 - I saw one about two months back never seen one before.
- Dodge Viper - I've seen four, a yellow one, two black ones, and a red one, one black one I saw was Friday after school he was driving next to me.
- Audi R8 - Silver, a week or so ago.

- Mercedes CL63 AMG - Silver
- Mercedes SLR - Black (at my church once)
- Austin Martin - Two, Idk what kind but one was silver and one had a full cop design.
- 2009 Chevy Camaro Mule - I saw one on the internet and about four days ago I pulled up next to one and I remembered it and I knew what it was, white.
- Lotus - No idea which one, about a week ago after an accident happened a bunch of cars were there and I drove by one.
- Saleen S7 - Saw a yellow one the same day I saw one of the Gallardos and the Austin Martin Cop.
- Saleen F150 - I saw one in red a few months back.
- Baby Blue Trans Am - Guy said it was one of 1,000 made.
- Callaway Edition 2007 Vette - A friend of my dad's, Martin, has a yellow one, 600 HP Supercharged.
- Mitsubishi Evo 9 - only seen one around here, it was black.

Haha that's all I can come up with off the top of my head, I was really supprised to see that Countach yeseterday, I've only seen these in pictures and when I saw this one I didn't know what it was for a minute until I took a closer look, it was an amazing looking car.

If you guys want more and I see more I'll let you know, where I live these cars drive around like it's nothing, I see exotics literly every day.

Oh yeah and one of my favorites, the actual Jaguar from the newest Austin Powers movie, I asked the guy and he said it was the real one, has the SHAGuar stuff and the British Flag paint job!

There was a Bugatti Veyron at a dealership where my friend works but I can't count that, there's this place called Troy Motor Mall and they have like EVERY car dealership, one guy has only exotics and you CAN'T pass by that area without seeing at least 2 very nice exotics.

Haha the Grand Prix ain't all that great, but the Acura my cousin had to get it out of state, apparently it's very hard to find in this color and fully loaded, they only made it in this exact body for one year.

The rarest old car would be a Ferrari 250 GTO. Saw it after coming home from work by the Peterson Auto museum in LA.

Rarest new car, probably the Veyron or the CLK DTM AMG. I used to live across the street from a big mall in LA. Theres almost always exotics over there.

About 5 minutes ago I just saw a dark blue with black air intake audi r8. beatiful cars.... maybe someday i'll own one

it was about july 2005, and i was working in a mercedes store as a detailer in sarasota, fl... my step-dad was the GM at the time... now it was common for us to get to drive the top of the line SL500 turbo (i think thats what it was called, im not much for cars) but one day he asks me if i want to meet Nelly, the rap star... now im not much into that genre, an on top of that i got to meet stephen king the week prior after detailing his wifes car at the toyota store, so i wasn't really interested.... then his car came through, an my step-dad about shot me in the face when i got behind the wheel of it an pulled it around, not knowing what it was... i got to drive a MAYBACH... an i must tell u, that it has some of the most elaborate pointless crap that NO ONE should need... example: on the roof, there is a solar panel linked to an internal temp. sensor... now when ur not in the car, engine off an everything, if the interior gets too hot, the car will (powered by those solar panels keeping the battery charged, an the A/C cool) it will close all the shades, tint the windows out, an turn on the A/c so that the internal temp. is kept comfortable for your arrival back into the car upon ur return.... holy crap, unnessecary... but still, thats the rarest car that i got to drive, an see for that matter, but i wouldve much rather been able to drive a ford gt concept or a corvette instead... but i never saw a gt concept at the ford store, an i never worked at the chevy store...

Really? one of my dads friends owns a Noble M12 GTO. Just saw it the other day while going to Walmart. I believe the color of it was Azure Blue. But anyway, sightings are very usual around here. Neighbor owns a red NSX-T. Other neighbor owns a shelby cobra recreation (replica). Another neighbor of ours had an orange Gallardo. (I could try and see if I could get photos). Now recently, I saw a Red Ford GT. (with white stripes). It had red rims with a chrome outer 'lip'. This was around the Florida Mall Area. Very interesting combination. Lots of Jag XK's and XKR's around Orlando. oh and also saw a Black Nissan-GTR in Orlando the other day. Hood and roof-line were very glossy. I have a strong feeling it was the Spec-V edition. Now, the rarest car I've ever seen is a Bugatti Veyron and a Rolls Royce DropHead Coupe. Both spotted while on a vacation to Miami. Now, as soon as I saw the front of the car (Veyron), I searched for my camera and before I could snap a picture, it was gone. So far, I only know of 4 Bugatti Veyrons in the South/Central part of Florida. One of them is a Pur Sang Edition, another is a Red/Cream (ext.), with two tone red/cream interior. And the other two are Black/Black veyrons. One of them owned by music producer and buisness mogul Scott Storch. Sorry for the long post, but there are actually some interesting cars here in Fl.

OMFG no way man... the Reventon looks so damned badass... ive only really seen it in the new Need For Speed game, Shift *blush* haha but it was sooooooo damned nice. i was driving in Vancouver a few months ago and seen a NSX...not sure what one but was it ever pimp. i was so amped. lol

Saw an R8 yesterday :P

I work right next to a Maserati/Ferrari dealership so I see all the new cars, sometimes before they are for sale. I went for a walk the other day and was floored when I saw a brand-spanking-new Ferrari F430 Scuderia, white with black stripes. The sound that car made skipped my heartbeat, it was awesome.

My neighbor has a F430 convertible, so I'm used of it. But w/o the black stripes.

The Scuderia is a different beast than a stock F430, although admittedly they are both incredible cars. The exhaust note out of the Scud sounds like it's taken from an F1 soundtrack. Oh, and there's an exotic car rental place nearby too, so I've seen a few Phantoms. Giant whale of a car.

Waw, really nice. I'm asking myself, he really need these cars??? Seriously, a mercedes class C or a Ferrari F430 is enough. Why does he need a McLaren? These cars are made for running at high speed at autobahn in Germany.

Yep that was Scott Storch's ( well known music producer's ) house. If you head over to Palm Island in South Beach, Miami the house is completely vacant. Even half of the gate was torn off.
