Knock sensor questionsdejaybrian 10-22-2004, 03:10 PM Ok the knock sensor is in the computer which is in the fender in the front under the charcoal canister correct? So what feeds the knock sensor?? Is there a sender on the block somewhere?? or does it get its information right from the computer... dejaybrian 10-22-2004, 03:12 PM The reason i know the knock sensor is bad is because the scan tool at auto zone said so n stuff.. Iat valve was bad to replaced that also. public 10-22-2004, 07:23 PM The knock sensor is the sensor on the block. Usually cheap and easy. Good Luck. godenm 10-22-2004, 08:45 PM be careful not to confuse it with crank position sensor; also located on block dejaybrian 10-23-2004, 04:11 AM i realize that, just makin sure cuz the chilton book says so...lol public 10-23-2004, 05:13 PM I guess you could change them both. Both are easy. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
