Automotive college?

I am seventeen and a senior in highschool. For the last 5 years my grandfather has been drilling it into my head that I should be a doctor. So I began working hard on my studies to become a doctor. My delema is that I don't want to be a doctor. For the last year I have been working on cars (a lot, my cutless broke down a ton), and now I have realized that I have an advid passion for the automotive industry. I have decided that I want to make a living in it, and I'll do whatever it takes to make a success of myself.

Now that I have given you my story, I need to know where I can get a quality education in automotive. I live in Beloit, Wisconsin so preferrably a college relatively close to me. I keep getting vague reviews from people, and calling the college doesn't help, because of course they are not going to tell you of their negative qualities. So I need to find someone who has been down that road before. Please help me out here, I'm a success in the making, I just need some help finding the right road.

This would be my first choice:

Automotive Engineeing - University of Michigan (http://interpro.engin.umich.edu/auto/index.htm)
