I don't know much about car and this is the first turbo, manual I have ever driven. Can any help me to define what's the problem and how do I get it fix. jmrev 10-21-2004, 08:47 PM dude try asking at the forums called "general" or something like that. it backfires! :lol2: my3rdskyline 10-21-2004, 08:50 PM check spark plugs, clean air filter yadda yadda yadda my3rdskyline 10-21-2004, 08:51 PM my pajero would do the same thing at like 4 grand under torque it felt like an air bubble in the gas line or something. just changed the spark plugs and that fixed it for me. GTR2b 10-21-2004, 09:03 PM Almost sounds like your turbo is siezed. Ever shove a potato in a guy's exhaust? Same concept. That's the worst case scenario though. I'd start by checking your MAF screen for dirt and check all you intake piping for obstructions. hoalai35 10-22-2004, 09:34 AM Almost sounds like your turbo is siezed.
