StartingS-104X4 10-20-2004, 09:55 AM Hey guys! I have a question, I just got a S-10 crew cab. 2003 4x4. When ever I go out in the morning to start it, it rumbles and has trouble idleing...then it dies. when I try to start it again it starts right up. And throughout the day it is fine. Its just that first time in the morning?!? Any help that would be great! Thanks busa_4 10-20-2004, 02:52 PM sounds like your coolant temp sensor or air intake sensor is faulty. if the sensor reads to high you will not get extra fuel for a cold start condition. you will need a scanner that can read sensor values to find out if these sensors are bad. most of the time they fail in the lowest reading (-40F) which will cause a rich condition all the time and ;of course, cause poor fuel economy. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
