i have recently purchased a 93 240sx se ...it runs alright and looks good but it ticking quite loudly....the guy i bought it from says it needs a new timeing chain....i was wondering if that'll be all i have 2 replace that and i recently bought a CT26 turbo from a friend of mine...i was wondering if anyone thinks itll be possible 2 hook it up to my 240...its a turbo off of a toyota...but it is possible to hook it up to a nissan right?its huge to will it even spool up? im confused about what i should do....i was also wondering if anyone knows of any ecu upgrades i could get....

Replacing the timing chain on a KA is no easy taks, figure that out before you try to mess with turbos, use the time to learn about them.

CT26 is a mkIII supra turbo, also crappy, better off selling the CT26 and getting a T3. I dont think there are any turbo mani's for the KA24 that will bolt on a CT26 unless its the samebolt pattern as a t3 or something


Timing chain massivly expensive to have done. It was cheaper for me to get another engine then have the timing chain done.

on my new 240sx, im gonna attempt to do the timing chain myself the kits are cheap enough.

depends theres all different variations of a T3 turbo. I usualy get t3 junkyard turbos for 50$. Most people dont usualy go for junkyard turbos because of the shaft play and whatnot, but i have been lucky. im gonna look on some websites and get back to you.
