Hey,
First off, welcome to AF :)

Now about a Skyline, I am assuming you want a GTR, The only place to import one in the US is through MotoRex www.skylinegtr.com Their prices may look high but that is cheaper then what you can expect to pay if you buy from a private party here in the US. The reason they are so expensive here is because MotoRex is the only RI who has done the testing to certify themselves to submit complience packages on Skylines.
Stock HP is listed at 280, but that is debatable :D But that number can skyrocket very quickly because the RB26DETT responds very well to mods and for very little money you could have a 400hp GTR. ie. Boost controler, Straightpipe exhaust, 500cc Injectors, Fuel pump, BOV, Waistegate. You could spend some more money and get a larger IC. As for over the top, 1000hp GTRs are almost common in Japan and some GTRs push over 1200hp, with the same RB26DETT engine, Plus a few internals mind you :D

As for 1/4 mile times, how highely modded are we talkin here? There are 7second GTRs in Japan, 9 is very possible with a little work.

Hey, I want to let you know, if you are looking to buy a very good priced U.S. Spec, legally imported gt-r, look no futher. I have decided to sell my 95' Midnight Purple GT-R for $41,000. That includes shipping from Japan, and leagalization by Motorex. The only thing you will need to do is pick it up in Cali when all of the coversions have been done. This GT-R is in excellent condition. It only has 37,000 km on the clock, has an outstanding history of only being owned by one person before me and has NEVER been in an accident. I will be able to ship this car from japan ASAP to whoever is interested. I will also consider aquiring any mod parts you may want with the car and mail them to you via the US Postal Service. By the way, I am in the miliary stationed in Japan, just in case you were wondering what is an american doing in japan with a gt-r. There is absolutly nothing wrong with this car. Also, my asking price is WAY better than what Motorex will charge you for the exact same car. Hit me back for the details. Whoever wants a R33 GT-R for a damn good price, don't pass this up.
