I've got a 89 PU 4x4 w/ 4.3 TBI engine. Have wrecked 93 Blazer 4x4 w/ 4.3 Vortech. Want to swap, can do it, but I have a question for everyone? How hard is the electronic part of the swap? Computer, wiring etc. seems kinda of complicated. If you've done it, it would be a lot of help for your input. Thanks.

And a time estimate for all the work would be nice too. It's my ride, so if I have to work on it for a week, I need to know.

does the engine outta the blazer have TBI or CPI??

It is CPI. It is the 4.3 Vortec, and the VIN has the W in it signaling CPI.
Main idea here is more horsepower and a newer engine opposed to the glorified-version-of-a-carb-TBI.Also the problem. More electrical/computer stuff...
