I just purchased a 91 Trooper V6 5-speed with 108K about a week ago for a winter vehicle. It has run well until yesterday when I started to notice some hesitation/power loss from the motor at anything above 1/4 throttle. It slowly got worse until the check engine light came on for a few seconds and then went out. My guess its an electrical problem (plugs, wires, distributor, coil). Anyone have any ideas? Is there anything I should check for?
