Hey guys....My girlfriend just blew the engine on her 1990 toyota camry, and she decided instead of junking the car, to give it to me.

I've heard that the celica 3sgte engine is interchangable with the camry 4 cylinder engine.

Is it a direct swap?

What else would i need to do this? ( i suspect a solara v6 tranny)

How much would it cost me?

I want to do this as cheaply as possible....if it turns out to be too much, i'd rather just buy a JDM 4 cyl camry engine from ebay. I just want to see if there is a possibility of this car being fast. :)
