Is the pump on the gtst and gtr in the fuel tank? If so how big or difficult a job is it to do? Is it just a case of releasing the pressure in the tank and then taking it off? There are no specail tools needed to get the pump out is there like on some ford models?

Many thanks

it should be pretty easy to remove/install. most nissan pumps are similar enough to be adapted to other (nissan) cars.

I don't see why it wouldn't, you may have to make an adaptor or do a little ghetto rigging, but it should work :D

I replaced my GTS-t fuel pump with a GTR fuel pump with no problem. Took me about 20 minutes. If you want I've heard from a reliable source that you can use a Mustang 5.0 fuel pump to put into a R32 GTS-t.
And yes the fuel pump is int the inside.
