Lowering Springs 91CRX - what's good?CRX586 02-18-2002, 04:18 AM I want to get my CRX lowered - what springs are good?.... I just had my shocks/struts replaced a few months ago with new KYBs - non adjustable - in this case, adjustable refers to the softness of the ride? I should be able to use these shocks with whatever coilovers I get? Thanks! CRX_FANATIC 02-18-2002, 01:04 PM Go with Eibach Sportlines....definitely worth the money, you won't be disappointed www.thecrxdomain.com:bandit: 90CRXZCSi 02-18-2002, 01:40 PM I would have to agree on the Eibachs. It's a great spring and like crx_fanatic said you wont be dissapointed.;) mellowboy 02-18-2002, 02:32 PM Either that or go with Neuspeed....they are very good and i have no complaints on them at all.:) CRX586 02-18-2002, 04:25 PM Cool, thanks for the advice... So I should be able to use my new KYB shocks even though they're not adjustable? And what about camber kits - any suggestions? BlueRex 02-18-2002, 05:09 PM Get Neuspeed race springs. They are sweet. shatshadarach 02-20-2002, 01:32 AM you can use your springs with your shocks, you might have to knock off the lower seat if you get coilovers though, might. i have eibach sportlines on my 90 civic si and theyre mint. need shocks though, theyre a little soft for the ride height, but you already got those so you should be ok. adjustable shocks usually refers to the dampening and rebound, however, there are koni's where you can adjust the height. CRX586 02-20-2002, 03:03 AM Cool... looks like springs are gonna be more cost effective for me... I just don't want my car to bounce all over the place, that's mostly from cutting down the stock springs, right? From what I've seen online, coilovers are more expensive than springs... any benefit, other than being able to adjust the ride height? mellowboy 02-20-2002, 12:28 PM Originally posted by CRX586 Cool... looks like springs are gonna be more cost effective for me... Coilovers are also more bouncy then springs and SOMETIMES they make these annoying squeaky noise! I'd rather just go with springs but its ur choice:) sakes 02-20-2002, 04:53 PM how about those ground controls when they teamed up with eibach. are they any good? i saw an ad for them in honda tuner and was intregued. mellowboy 02-20-2002, 04:56 PM Originally posted by sakes how about those ground controls when they teamed up with eibach. are they any good? i saw an ad for them in honda tuner and was intregued.
