I'm a bit of a tire newbie, so..

I have a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL, and it has the following tires on it: P215/60R16 94T M+S

A friend gave me two new tires, and their number is: P195/60R14 94T M+S

Will the new tires work on the car? Thanks to anyone who can help!

THey will not fit.

P195 is not wide enough for a rim that needs P215.
The rim sizes are different also, the tires your friend gave to you are for 14" rims, yours are 16".

actually, the rim diameter (14" vs 16") is the reason they won't fit, not the width, but the answer is the same, they won't fit.
