Vibrations when I accelerate past 60mph

My 97 tahoe seems to vibrate past 60 mph as long as my foot is on the gas. I take it off, the vibrations go away. I accelerate again and there they are. I have had my tires replaced and balanced and same issues. Any one have any insight on this? Thanks!

That is exactly what happens bumsinflt, I read more posts in the thread and they all seem to agree with that. Now I just need to see what one will cost me and how long it will take to put in.

Just an update. I replaced the rear u-joints and everything is great now. Getting the old ones out proved to be more of a pain in the ass than what I expected. I ended up taking the driveshaft to a shop and they got them out for me. Seems they had to drill them out. Even after heating them and getting the plastic out they still wouldn't press out. Installing them was a breeze.

Thanks for the help!

I had the exact same problem getting my ujoint out of my drive shaft. I ended up tweaking an ear on my drive shaft using a ujoint press. Then I couldn't get the new ujoint in. It was a mess. I had to take my d-shaft in to have the ear bent back.
