I just had all of the fuel injectors on my 95 lumina 3.1 replaced.
Now, the car takes longer to start (I have to turn the key for a few seconds). Sometimes it starts pretty roughly. It used to fire up right away.
Once the car starts it runs just fine. Any ideas?

Unplug the battery for about 10 minutes to reset the ECM. Hoki tback up and let it idle until it gets smooth. Cut it off, cut it back on, and then take it for a 10 - 15 minute drive on the interstate.

I agree with Kooter, sounds like a relearn is needed, and follow his proceedure to do so. One question, when they changed the injectors, did they change the regulator?

So I unplug the battery for about 10 minutes then hook it back up. After that I start the car up and let it idle, turn if off and on one for time and then take it for a ride?

I don't think they changed the regulator.

you are correct on the re-learn proceedure. If they didn't change the regulator, you may be bleeding off pressure and that may be what's causing your hard start problem. If you have access to a fuel pressure tester, check pressure at the rail, and see if it's low.

How did it run before they changed the injectors?
