On my 89 Camry V-6LE I would occasionally get the little light icon coming on, on the dashboard when I put it into gear and put on the brake. I would check all the headlights, marker lights, tail lights etc but often I could find nothing wrong - they all seemed to light up. I have since found the problem: a screw that holds the negative wire to the tail light/ brake light socket would loosen up just enough to create a high resistance (enough to heat up the plastic that the screw threads into). But when left over night and it cooled down the problem was gone again. If you are getting a similar icon on the dash, remove this screw and check for corrosion (file it off) and use a lock washer or loctite. The icon should stop bothering you after that ( at least until you get a real burnt out bulb)
