That oughta do it. :) Brian R. 10-14-2004, 02:41 PM Try turning the key in the drivers front door twice quickly to get the rear door to unlock. Then try opening it from the outside. AETKAB 10-14-2004, 11:33 PM You will have to remove the door panels. Once removed, just pull on the rod that connects to the door lock mechanism. If you are able to open it, unlock the Child Safety Lock. With the door panel removed, check the rod that connects the door lever to the lock mechanism. Specifically, look for a piece of plastic that is less than a square inch, which holds the rod in place against the door. If this piece of plastic is broken, and no longer holds the rod against the door, you will not be able to open from the inside. To compare, remove the other door panel and see. Hopefully that's it. Joe W 10-15-2004, 11:28 AM I agree with AETKAB,because with the child-lock engaged the door still opens from the outside. The problem is apperantly inside the door. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
