I have a 1991 ranger v6 manual trans and it is getting hard to shift. it is easier if it sits then drive it but after a while it gets harder. the fluid level is fine.

Do you mean that it is hard to shift as in the shifter gets harder to move from gear to gear, or that it does not want to move at all after it warms up? If it is the latter, you could have a problem with the slave cylinder (you have to pull the trans out to replace this) or as Ford says, it could be a build-up of clutch dust on the input shaft/throw-out bearing. I had to replace my slave cylinder at 140,000 miles because when the engine got hot, the clutch would not engage. I have not had any more problems since then, over 8000 miles ago.
