I got the comparison pics. 88-91 VS 96-98 front on CRXdiegoaccord 02-17-2002, 04:14 PM Look at these pics, compare and vote which one looks better. You are all used to seeing the CRX with its 4G bumper. But look at the 6G. I think the 6G matches better to the shape of the CRX. Also the CRX with the 4G front has the Wings West kit, in which I want the sides and back from. CRX, orig front: http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/933372ww1.jpg CRX, 96-98 front: http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/192682crx6g.jpg Then vote and tell me what looks better. CRX_FANATIC 02-17-2002, 05:10 PM I think that those Civic lights are a little too big for the CRX, I'm old school so I like the OG front end, but it isn't a bad conversion though.. www.thecrxdomain.com:bandit: SkyNex721 02-17-2002, 05:38 PM I like them both but I like the stock look a little bit better. bracer 02-17-2002, 05:50 PM On the pic the 6th gen front looks pretty good but I too prefer the stock look a little better. 89ssgti 02-17-2002, 06:23 PM I like'em both, really cannot decide:) Marc-OS 02-17-2002, 07:35 PM I think the Rex with the 96-98 front looks better, it seems to blend in more with the shape of the car. I like it, how much does a conversion like that cost? Worshp 02-17-2002, 07:40 PM The 6G front looks really cool..is it really easy to fit though? I can't imagine that both the 6g and the 4G are the same widths and lengths?? evil_elmo 02-17-2002, 08:59 PM i like the standard CRX front, the civic looks good but the one i really like is the gen 3 teg front on a crx 90civichbsi 02-17-2002, 09:37 PM the 96-98 front is interesting, but i just like the stock lfront end Setanta 02-18-2002, 05:29 AM I'm a purist, but I truly like the later model front end. It looks like it was designed for the CRX and really suits the lines of the car. dejoux 02-18-2002, 05:41 AM I like the original better, but thats probably because Im so used to seeing it. Perhaps if id never seen either before I might like it more The 96-98 does suit the car and certainly makes it look newer though. Has anyone ever done a 5G conversion? CRX_FANATIC 02-18-2002, 01:01 PM Heres the 90-93 Integra conversion which I think looks good on the CRX.... www.thecrxdomain.com http://www.angelfire.com/ca7/thecrxdomain/convert2.art diegoaccord 02-18-2002, 03:12 PM Setanta and Marc-OS knows side by side, 6Gen front macthes better to the shape of the CRX. The Teg front still makes the car look "old", and the 5Gen front looks good, but too similar. You can see a 5Gen front on a CRX at 89crx.com-pictures-conversions2. It uses the Wings West bumper in the pic of the red CRX, with 5en lights. Worshp 02-18-2002, 06:43 PM I actually prefer the SiR front...but you probably knew I would say that:D Buzzr 02-18-2002, 10:07 PM i thought the ek headlights didn't really suit the crx but after looking at this http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/722733blah2.jpg the civic headlights look way better  Buzzr 02-18-2002, 10:09 PM Setanta 02-19-2002, 12:15 AM ^^^^^^^ not into this one - it's too overdone for my tastes. CRX_FANATIC 02-19-2002, 04:02 AM All I can is....:apuke: to that one diegoaccord 02-19-2002, 01:33 PM that shit is gay... a ferrar-rx kingmike 02-19-2002, 03:59 PM That is really a hard choice, I love the way the 96-98 front end looks on that car it makes the look of the car "flow". At the same time I love the old school look. As long as we are talking conversions, how about a full JDM conversion? I'm planning on doing it with my 89 si. If I'm not mistaken, I think it includes hood, headlights, front lip and side fenders. Anyone have pics of that?? spy54 02-19-2002, 04:46 PM wow buzzr that caris hidious i mean come on people lets get some style and compassion for our cars why would some one do that!?:( poor guy probly neve saw it coming 91HBSi 02-19-2002, 09:46 PM I personally like it. I don't really like that particular car, but the front end looks alright. I like the 6g headlights on the Wingswest front end. I would post a picture, but it isn't working. CRX_FANATIC 02-20-2002, 01:47 AM Here's the conversion with the WW body kit........ http://www.angelfire.com/ca7/thecrxdomain/convert9.art CRX_FANATIC 02-20-2002, 02:04 AM What about this NSX taillight conversion......:bathroom: http://www.angelfire.com/ca7/thecrxdomain/convert7.art 91HBSi 02-21-2002, 05:37 PM Originally posted by CRX_FANATIC Here's the conversion with the WW body kit........ http://www.angelfire.com/ca7/thecrxdomain/convert9.art Yeah that's the one, I can't get it to post for some dumb reason  bracer 02-21-2002, 05:47 PM On that yellow rex it looks good, but I don't like the way it looks on that green rex, maybe the angle of the pic dunno.. That with rex doesn't look that bad IMO, a little overdone but still kinda cool. Looks like a German styled CRX. Marc-OS 02-21-2002, 10:13 PM Originally posted by bracer On that yellow rex it looks good, but I don't like the way it looks on that green rex, maybe the angle of the pic dunno.. It's because of the WW kit. It's too squarish for the curves of the civic front end. LjasonL 02-22-2002, 02:39 AM it looks good on that yellow crx but damn is the green one ever ugly! however im gonna stick by my philosophy of spending the money on performance rather than custom light molding. it looks good on some cars but is one of the most pointless things, and even though sometimes i think it looks good, i can never get past the fact that its utterly pointless. MOST of the time however light conversions look really out of place. there are some good ones though, but they are few and far between. crxlvr 02-22-2002, 03:36 PM the 96-98 does look good, but im too lazy to switch. Niicee'CRX91 02-23-2002, 12:20 AM Is HOT....The Interga 94 and up conversion is also hot... CRX_FANATIC 02-24-2002, 03:29 AM LjasonL 02-24-2002, 03:49 AM heh... i think that guy with the integra front has nitrous. im not sure though its hidden pretty well :p Marc-OS 02-24-2002, 03:48 PM Originally posted by ldelaysionl heh... i think that guy with the integra front has nitrous. im not sure though its hidden pretty well :p He doesn't even need a bottle heater since its in the engine :) The Teg front end does look nice though. 1FASTCRX 02-25-2002, 01:02 PM maybe if i was used to them but they just seem wrong to me diegoaccord 02-25-2002, 01:13 PM well im gonna have the perfomance to back this conversion up! but i did use my b16a money to buy the parts. all i need now are type r headlights. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
