Where to find wheel?

I'm looking for a specific wheel, does anyone know if there is a kit or aftermarket wheel that looks anything like this?

Even one in a similar shape without the holes drilled would work.

The wheels are for a super-acurate model I'm building of the 1984 Pontiac Fiero Indy Pace Car. I already have the decals, and the hood and doors and door panels cut out, and half of the SD4 engine done.

I have this actual 8x10 I bought from the Indy Museum in a frame in my room (the picture is a bit larger and the color is better).

Thanks!

You could get moon dishes (right?) and drill them out. It would be a lot of drilling though.

yeh like willmo said it'll be a lot of drilling(29 to be specific), a little custom work never hurt anyone.

Sorry to break away from topic, but who makes a Fiero kit?

Maybe you could try this rim:

- drill holes between each molded hole
- flat the surface of the rim by filling with putty

15" or 16" and they're actually offset further into the wheel than they look.

Does anyone make these Moon-dishes in that size? I've seen a number of metal rims I could just put them in if they make disks big enough.

does anyone make resin moon-dishes? metal ones would be a PITA to drill all those holes in FOUR of them!

Thanks for the replies so far!

I would drill moon dishes. I think sakatsku makes moon dishes???

BTW where did you get the decals for the pace car. I really want to make one.

 Well in grenades, you don't actually have to hit the person you want to kill with it. All you have to do is get it near them and the explosion will kill them. It's a bit of sarcasm, funny stuff.

Fred Cady Design, $5 per sheet. I Ordered 3 for all the variations I'm making :iceslolan

You can make the production Pace Car Replica out of the 85 GT kit, it just takes a LOT of work to make it accurate. Luckliy I have an 84 Fiero kit I was able to make a resin decklid vent and complete engine from. I have to scratch build a few more parts to make the one that actually paced the 500, though (there were three of these, I'm building the primary one, now owned by the Indy Museum. The second is owned by GM, and the third was crushed! :()

I've seen the real car in person and took alot of detailed video and pictures :D I even found the car's VIN and RPO codes, and posted them to the Fiero Forum a while back.

also in horse shoes you get points for getting "close" (less than one shoe away) to the pin. Hence the term "almost" only counts in horse shoes & handgrenades! :evillol:

I was expecting a slap on the decal and voila. But I guess not.
