I have replaced the purge solenoid valve and that shut the system warning light off for about 10 miles. It came on again and I'm still getting the same code. I'm curious as to how you could check the viability of these parts and to know exactly where the problem is coming from. Next I assume that I need to check the vaccuum purge switch, then the egr valve. I have no fuel odors, and she seems to be running better since replacing the solenoid switch. Any help would be golden. Thanks in advance.

well, there is the purge valve, but there is also a vent valve. there can also be a small leak that dosnt release a smell. the best way to check evap systems is to do a service bay test. you can hook the Tech 2 up to it and pull a vacume on the system and watch the level to see if it holds or if there is a leak. if there is a leak, that is hard to find, the dealership also has a smoke machine that can be used to find the leak.
long story short, save yourself alot of headache, and take it to the dealership.
