Brake Master Cylinder Repair Kit

Anyone knows where can I get a "repair kit"? I don't know why but it's difficult to find. I know I only need rubber cups for couple dollars to fix it, I would not like to spend $100 for a new one.

I'd say rebuilding a master cylinder is false economy. If the piston rubbers are shot, the bore is probably worn too, and you're trusting your life to an inferior repair.

The reason you can't find them is probably because too few people want them.

A new master cylinder goes for about $100. A rebuild kit for $15.00. A honing tool for $20.00. Electric drill $35.00. It's probably cheaper to buy a new cylinder. To prolong the life of your master cylinder and wheel cylinders it it is important to change the fluid regularily. Brake fluid attracts moisture and water eats metal causing pits in the bore. The pits eat the rubber. ?So change the fluid and the cylinders will last almost for ever.
