The latch on my back window broke. The one that opens in the center. Anyone know where i can get a replacement??? As now i have no way to keep it shut. Anyone can open it anytime.

You can always go to the dealer, if you're rich. But I'd try a junkyard first. They may try to sell you the entire piece of glass though....

"Sliding rear window"...
If this happened to me I'd use it as an excuse to get a whole one-piece rear window.

Why, what's wrong with the sliding window? I wish my truck had a sliding window in it.

I've also heard it called a "case of beer window", lol.
I remember in my Dad's old truck, all it would do was whistle because it wouldn't seal, it was annoying. That's where I learned to hate them. The only way I would get one is if I was going to put a sleeper on the truck.

i had a ranger with the one piece back window, i hated it. I like the "beer case window" better. I dont wanna goto the dealer cause they will probably charge an arm and a leg for that little piece. Maybe i could try to local junkyard sometime this weekend.

I love the "beer case window", last two trucks I have had, had it. The only problem I've had with them is the cheap plastic latch breaks. The dealer is the only place I've found them, and the part was about $6.
