Reset Check Engine Light - 1988 Audi-90 Quattrobperazich 10-11-2004, 06:46 PM Does anyone know how to reset the check-engine light for a 1988 audi-90 quattro? I know you control/read the code by plugging in a fuse into a special socekt in the fuse-box. Thanks ... later, -Branko. narlycarly 10-30-2004, 01:47 PM It automatically resets when fault is no longer detected. It is an old system and I do not belive it retains much information. The ECM is much like the ABS system. gmatov 03-15-2005, 12:06 AM Branko, Est ti Srbn? If you mean the Oxygen Sensor light, comes on every 50,000 miles, look under the left rear seat. You should find a computer module with a pushbutton on it. Push and good for another 50,000 miles. At least on my 85, and 84-88 are the same in the book, but then, mine was the 5000. Good luck.
