Broke_as_**** 10-10-2004, 02:25 AM Right...what takes a second or two to kick in? The clutch? Is it not engaging? The engine? Does it not rev higher even with the throttle wide open? The turbo? Is it just taking longer than normal to spool up? jackass#1 10-10-2004, 02:51 AM to kick in. Broke_as_**** 10-10-2004, 04:15 AM Turbos take a moment to make boost. You have to remember the turbo is going from roughly 20-30 thousand rpms just driving around to 70 thousand or more at wide open throttle. Thats a big hill to climb. If you want to improve turbo performance then I would suggest heading over to www.z31.com, they'll have more info on that then just about anyone here. Or give LongLivetheZ a PM, he has a Z31 Turbo as well and may have some more information on Z31 performance parts. DeleriousZ 10-10-2004, 05:29 AM like broke said... also, you may want to work on your english skills so it's easier for us to understand what it is you're acutally trying to say... jackass#1 10-10-2004, 07:59 PM my english skills is not yes problem back to the thread misunderstood me not the turbo the engine hesitates between shifting as if it wants to die. i hold gas pedel to the floor for 1 or 2 seconds and then it finally wants to go. DeleriousZ 10-10-2004, 08:00 PM could be something to do with your fuel system almost flooding out the engine between shifts because it's running really rich.. not sure what you'd do to fix it if that was the problem vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
