I need help DRIV3R

I need some help with this game I have posted it in the game spot but know ones looks there anymore !!!

Im at the part were you have to chase the girl in the car on the last city
every time you hit her the car spins out of control but when you try to follow her she allways gets away

has any been here before ?? PLEASE HELP
