This car is a good runner. 84000 miles. Echecked in April 2004. Never wrecked. Second owner. Both "little old ladys". Car is in the local paper for $1100/offer for last 3 days. We have two offers well below $1100. Maybe we are expecting too much for this 17 year old car, but we like it. It has 6 very good tires. Two are studded snow tires. All are on rims and balanced. It has good brakes, engine, transmission, am/fm stereo,etc. It drives well. The only things bad are some rust in rear quarters and rockers, and ac unit needs some freon.

yes we have only started trying to sell this 87 monte. as i said i have been driving it to work aech day for a couple of years. i have now retired. My wife has bouight a new car, and i have a pretty nice f150. So we thought we would offer the monte to the market. A paper ad just started today. Two people have come over to see the car today. Both said they were interested and want to think about an offer. The ad says $1100/offer, because I have no idea as to it's value.

this is the end of this thread. this morning a nice young biker chick offered $950 for this Monte so she could park her Harley for the Winter. She is now the proud new owner of a pretty good looking slightly rusted older Monte Carlo. Thanks for your encouragement.
