larger interccoler and water injection kit...Z32TT_maniac 10-03-2004, 07:31 PM ofcourse i have to get both..but just say $$$ is limited...so should i get a larger intercooler first? or water injection kit first? which one is better for better cooling job? Karen512 10-03-2004, 07:40 PM do you even need an aftermarket innercooler? Broke_as_**** 10-03-2004, 07:54 PM Larger intercoolers really aren't needed until you start upgrading turbos. Water injection isn't really a must either but it will help you run the stock turbos harder. Z1 motorsports (http://www.z1motorsports.com/Products/Power%20Adders/Z1%20Water%20Injection/Z1%20Water%20Injection.asp) has a complete kit that has gotten praise from many at the TwinTurbo.net boards. Go with the water injection system... You'll be getting way more band for you buck. It's an old school concept that's being reborn. Tried and true. Too many bonuses to list. If you've read the Z1 sites stats and information on it then you know what I mean. Top Fuel funny cars have been using them for years. :smokin: Run the water/alcohol mixture and tell me what you think... If you still don't like it the I'll buy the system from you. Sounds like a win-win situation to me. :iceslolan k3smostwanted 10-04-2004, 02:24 PM for cooling purposes, i would get a performance radiator and electric fan first. also, invest in a JWT pop-charger and full exhaust to expell heat better. downpipes, testpipes, and cat-back will get that heat away from those turbos alot more efficiently then your stock set-up plus add a good deal of power. after all that, i would then start to consider a water injection kit. Z32TT_maniac 10-05-2004, 09:03 AM havok! ok i'll try...if im not happy..u better buy me the system hehehe.. That was a WWII German Luftwaffa trick as a power adder to the Bf109s and Bf110s they ran early in the war a 50/50 mix then they leaned it out to a 60/40 mix of methenol and water. It was designated the MW50/50 or MW60/40 depending on the type. Just some history on the power adders. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
