Have '91 LX, 3.0L V6. Picked up a new/used V6 from a boneyard. New engine does not have the PFI valve (exhaust back pressure sensor) and the intake plenum is blocked off where the egr goes. It looks to be an original block-off plate and bolts from the factory as the rear exhaust manifold doesn't have the fitting for the sensor hose either. Nor is the exhaust manifold set up for the egr pipes.
My question: Is there going to be any problem with my computer not having the pfi sensor or egr?
The boneyard says it came out of a '91 and ran fine in the car it came out of; only has 79k miles, half of mine :screwy:
