Guys,
Could you take me step by step how to get my alternator off and replace it. I know it's bad, I did the old running engine, take a battery cable off the battery test....but I am clueless how to take the aternator off properly.

I'm not a master mechanic but last time I checked R&R of an alternator wasn't rocket science. If you have to ask your probably better to bring it to a garage. BTW if you truly want to learn Haynes sells a great book.

remove negative battery cable. unhook battery wire from backside of alternator, remove belt from alternator, remove 3 bolts from alternator, disconnect wire harness from alternator, then you should just have to wiggle the alternator around to pull it out- has roll pin type spacers where the 2 long bolts secure it that have to be moved a little

The best thing to do is go to your local auto zone/advanced auto parts and get a Chilton's Manual for your year. I can't tell you how many times it has come in handy for me!
