Im doing some research on my enemy, but cant find the stats for this truck, anyone know the 0-60, 1/4 mile time for the truck? Or on the "Hemi Sport"?

The rumble bee is a 1500 with a hemi and some small limited edition graphics and such. The competitor for your lightning is the SRT-10.
500 hp
525 ft lb
0-60 4.8sec
1/4 mi 13.19 @ 107mph
Top speed about 155mph

well actually i count the hemis as my competition b/c well a srt-10 or a 2nd gen lightning would destroy me in any race, from what ive heard the hemis have about the same times as me, my truck is probably good for at best in the high sixes to 60. Plus ive only seen one SRT-10, but tons of those "Rumble Bees".

Well I saw in your sig 93 lightning thought you were looking for competition.

i agree, i do like the looks on the SRT-10 and new lightining. But i would never get one. The whole point of a truck to me is 4x4 and hauling stuff. Dont get me wrong im trying to get all i can out of my ram but if it doesnt have 4x4 its not a truck. Just an oversixed car.

Versatility. You can have the performance of a sports car, and still have the ability to tow and haul. In addition, some find a truck to be safer and more comfortable than a sports car.

Rumble bees don't even rumble. The exhaust note is stock silent.

Agreed, Which is why I bought my Rumble Bee! Plus, I cannot stand little cars for the life of me. I had a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee before my Bee.
Um..Namless - I haven't run mine at the strip, but through the Rumble Bee forum, I've been hearing sixes 0-60. I'm not sure what they run in the 1/4.

My daily driver is my Volvo (can't afford to gas up the dodge with an 80 mile round trip commute), and I always feel like I'm going to get run over by all the trucks on the road. I'm on the lookout for a 4 cyl. truck to add to the stable so I can have the best of both worlds.

Not trying to piss anybody off, but when people are always talking about semi-performance trucks, like a hemi, and their stats, why does the SS Silverado get overlooked?

Because as far as I'm concerned it's a silverado with a couple of decals. It would get it's doors blown off by the lightning, and even more so by the SRT-10 . If chevy wants to drop an LT1 or the new vette motor in a truck then let me know. Until then it's a pretty boy truck with no nuts, comparitively speaking.

Thats why I said "semi-performance" and "hemi" not srt-10 and lightning. Just so you know, it got the new vette motor before the vette did, the 6.0 liter.

whats funny is it would still get blow away by the srt-10, and by the next gen lightning.(oh and you mean LS1 not LT1)
