How can i dissable them without having any performance problems when i turn my lights on?(one light brighter than the other)

Sometimes if you dissable the DRL's(Daytime Running Lights) and you dont do it right. There is a short in your relay, and it causes one of ur lights to dim, giving it the effect of one being brighter than another...
Now can anyone answer my question?
