urathane body kitsttfox88 09-29-2004, 05:59 PM now my second thread is were to find urathane body kits i dont like fiber glass is too frigile ( i mean am i right?) . for my understanding urathane bumpers is the same as stock bumpers? right. ZedEx 09-29-2004, 09:04 PM Yes, you are right on all of your thoughts. The only Urethane Fascias I have seen (Fascia is a fancy term for a front bumper cover) is the Greddy GMZ Fascia, and of course, our beloved Fairlady Zed Fascia. Both will run you near $400 some odd dollars. But they are DEFFINATELY the way to go... Because just think, you hit a pot hole, and there goes your pretty little front end. Go Urethane, much better... -Wes Broke_as_**** 09-29-2004, 09:06 PM Or just say the hell with body kits and buy some inconel exhaust manifolds. That may be just me though. ZedEx 09-29-2004, 09:09 PM Nah, Im with you broke. Im not one to spend money on cosmetics either. -Wes freakonaleash1187 09-29-2004, 09:13 PM mmmmm, jdm front fascia, sooo sexy. here is a pic of the jdm fascia. http://www.streetneeds.com/uploads/300zxclub/Jspec1.JPG.jpg Broke_as_**** 09-29-2004, 09:16 PM I'm 100% power over looks. Can't say that the JDM Fairlady don't look good though :D k3smostwanted 09-29-2004, 10:25 PM hey thats what my z looks like...same color and everything. sorry just had to say that. hehe. mine dont have the nose panel though. also, most of the body kits for the z have urethane front bumpers. ie. stillen, wings west, 99' JDM, greddy, veilside. Broke_as_**** 09-29-2004, 10:30 PM The silver is badass. I don't like the nose panels though, any of them. And most body kits for the Z look like ass cancer. Some big huge gaping hole in the front as if you had five hundred front mounts in there and a bunch of needless vents to the sides. Add some odd ball sideskirts and a curtain like rear bumper with a ****ed wing above it and you have the perfect combination of reasons why all monetary resources should be directed under the hood. But thats me. k3smostwanted 09-29-2004, 10:40 PM yeah...i have an n/a so i just got the 99' JDM front fascia and i bought an aftermarket TT 90-93 rear spoiler replica (i got in an accident and i came out of it on top of the world). but it definitely needs the JDM sideskirts to go along with the whole look but i was thinking about doing just the wings west side skirts beings that they look very similar. of course after my motor swap. if you guys get a chance look at side by side pics of the wings west side skirts next to the JDM front bumper and tell me what you think. also, samhain i know your good with photo shop. maybe you can doc up a quick picture for me to look at? ttfox88 10-04-2004, 05:32 PM thanx but i too love power more than looks. but i dont want a big goofy looking kit just a little different look thaN STOCK vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
