I have a new problem that just about scared the crud out of my wife and I. We were traveling up the freeway when I noticed that the odometer was flickering really low. Curious on what might be causing it I checked the lights to see if they were on or off (automatic lights) and the whole rig jerked like we had hit something. When I turned the lights back to the auto (off) position, I got power again. I parked the vehicle and shut it down, started it back up and the flicker was gone.

Later on I was going to a persons house and I noticed that it was flickering again. I parked the jeep and with the radio and heater going I turned on the headlights again. This time the Radio and fan shut off and then turned back on when I turned off the headlights. But sure enough I shut off the engine and started it back up and the flicker was gone.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to figure out what the heck is going on?
