I'm not sure if this even counts as proper forum ettiquette, but how much, estimated, do you pay on your Mustang? I know there are a lot of determining factors, location, history, etc. Just the type and price of six months worth of coverage (state whether liability or not.) I'm just curious before I go in and get a quote. I'm thinking about just staying ricer, but the muscle is just too tempting. I just wanted an idea. Thanks.

Might work, course it might raise dads ol insurance rates too. Been there done that. That worked for about a month back when I lived at home. Soon as pop got the bill he kicked me off and made me get my own. Good luck.

I don't think its gonna matter. Mustangs are considered sports cars period so your gonna pay especially at your age. The only way around it is if you get some 4cyl 4dr which I know you don't want, or you could settle for a 6cyl mustang which would be cheaper than the V8 but more expensive than the 4cy. Either way there are alot of things working against you. The newer the vehicle, the more cylinders, just about any 2dr are all excuses the Ins co uses to raise your rates.

Honestly i didn't see a significant change in my rates until I hit 25.

I pay about 1800 a year, which monthly Im paying 150. Its a killer, and thats on my parents name with a clean record. If we had another Ford we could have gotten the discount :frown: stupid volvo and chrysler haha. although my dads chrysler 300 (not the hemi, although we wish it was) is good to look at and handles well
