tire choiceglass 09-27-2004, 08:34 PM wille researching this site for information on the choice of tire replacement on my just bought 1994 GC, I realize that it s a big investment and a one time deal when chosing the right ones .. the goodyears were recomended , but not the best tire for the money in my opinion... so I spent $437 .00 out the door with all the warranties you d want on a tire , I chose the pathfinder trail A/P, P235/75R/15, 105s OWL, all weather , mud ,snow , and decent off road tread . a good solid ride , no mushy sidewall feel , and you can actually feel them grip the road , not a tire saleman , but I believe in good tires as our lives depend on them , and I keep a car for a long time , this one is my 3 rd in in 30 years , thank s to all that posted their opinion on tire choice , it helped a lot , and this site is the most informative i've found for forum chat on the GC ChadEbert 09-27-2004, 10:35 PM Glad it worked out for you. I'm not a Goodyear fan at all, too much money for the tire, and from my industry experience they live up to their name, they last for about a good year. Given the choice, I'd have suggested the BFGoodrich Radial Long trail, great tire, I sell a lot of them out of my shop. Keep the rubber on the ground!
